A note about awards

Thank you ladies for the awards.

But I am very under the weather right now. I think I have an upper respiratory infection and I just do not feel well at all. I will come get the awards and get the set up later, when I feel better.

Thanks for understanding. I'm going to go lay back down shortly. Have a good week everyone in case I am away for a while....

Award Time!!

Premio Dardos Award

The Premio Dardos award acknowledges the values that every blogger shows in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values every day.

I was given this award by xelaxel at xelaxscrapfree . Please visit her site. Thank you for this honor Xelaxel.

The rules are:

1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person that has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2) Pass the award to other 15 blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment. Remember to contact each of them to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

Wow, 15 blogs ... I don't know if I can even find 15 blogs that have not had this award already. I will post what I can though, lol.

1. Roseanna at Digi Scrap Galore and More http://digiscrapgalore.blogspot.com/

2. Pat (PCArt) at Wonderful Waste of Time http://wonderfulwasteoftime.blogspot.com/

3. Kicki at My Creations http://kimadecreations.blogspot.com/

5. Candis at Scrap with Me http://mousetwitcher.blogspot.com/

6. Laurie at Laurie Made Me Scraps http://lauriemademescraps.blogspot.com/

Wow, that's all I can think of right now. Whew ... these are the only places I have seen that doesn't have this award yet. Ah shoot .... just went to add it to Lauries site and she already has it. I didn't look down far enough. She even has me listed and I didn't know it yet, lol!!

Photo Challenge

Photo Challenge
I was challenged today by Pat-PcArt.

This is the challenge instruction:
Go to your photo folder in your computer.
Go to the 6th folder of photos.
Go to the sixth picture.
Put the picture on your blog and description of it. Invite six friends to join the challenge. Link them in your blog and let them know they have been challenged. Here is my photo.

I too wondered oh gosh, what photo will be the 6th photo in the 6th folder. Whew, tongue twister!! This picture is my Step Son and Daughter - in - law with their new baby, Carlos ... still at the hospital. This was in Dec. 08. We haven't got to see baby Carlos yet since we live 2300 miles away, but he knows Grandpa/ma loves him to pieces!! The old saying: A picture is worth a thousand words goes without saying!!

Thank you Pat for passing the challenge to me. And I now forward it on to:

1. Lone

2. Laurie

3. Miguy

4. Peta

5. Steph

6. DigiScrapGalore

Enjoy ladies, I can't wait to see what your 6th of 6 turns out to be!

Valentine Hearts PU Freebie

This is the first freebie I have gotten out since I got my layout done. I've had a lot of computer problems and had to reformat so haven't been around much. I did these for you today. The preview is small and doesn't show up as nice as it looks full size. There are four hearts total. The two you see which are aprox. 857 x 1501 at 300 dpi, and two without the blue ribbon (I forgot to add it) and without the beaded ribbons at bottom. Those are aprox. 857 x 889 300 dpi.

Personal Use Only

Enjoy your download and please leave a comment. I enjoy them.

Awards

I received this award from AloDezigns (Thanks so much!!). Drop by and give then a visit and leave some love. They have a ton of scripts and some new ones for Valentines Day!

My nominations:

Trixy over at DoodleBugs

Nancy at Nancy's Memories and Scraps

Be sure to leave them some love on your visit ;)

Speaking of Trixy...I also received the Treasured Friends Forever Award by her a few weeks back. I am just catching up after my crash. Thanks so much Trixy!! Sorry I've fallen behind.

Candy Hearts PTU

I have finally had some time to get in here and list a Valentine goodie.

These are 465 x 474 in size so large enough to use on a full LO. They are 300 dpi so suitable for printing as well. I worked hard on this for nearly 3 weeks to perfect them. Then I had a major computer crash and was only able to ready them for uploading yesterday. But here they are, finally.

These are a steal at 2 bucks.

There are 16 textured hearts, 16 smooth hearts. Both sets of 16 are in the same color. They "all" have different words or sayings on them.

Here's a close up for better detail.
